The release post
The launch announcement is short and unusually candid: the developer thanks everyone who played the demo and helped test, repeats that there is "no losing, no pressure, just zombies and lots of upgrades", and signs off with "have fun shredding". It does not promise a roadmap, DLC, or a patch cadence.
The Discord post
A month before launch, the developer opened a Discord server and invited players into a beta test. That beta is why the release build differs from the demo — the balance changes are the stated reason demo saves do not carry over.
No patches yet
Two days after release, the Steam news feed has two entries total: the Discord announcement and the release announcement. No hotfix, no balance patch, no roadmap.
That is not unusual for a launch this small, but it does mean the issues on known issues — the resolution darkening, the skill tree camera, the horde loot flag — are all still live. If you are waiting for a fix before starting, there is nothing to wait for yet.
What would go here
When Weird Penguin Games ships a patch, this page gets a row per build with what changed, and any page whose numbers moved gets a new checked date at the top. Pages that would change first are DNA tiers and costs, the wave table and achievements, because those are the pages built on numbers.
Checking it yourself
The Steam news feed for the app is the authoritative source, and the store page's purchase box is where the discount window comes from. Both are public; nothing on this page depends on a private channel.
