The numbers
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| List price | $5.99 |
| Current price | $4.79 |
| Discount | 20% |
| Discount type | Introductory offer |
| Offer ends | 9 November 2026 |
| Currency checked | USD, 28 October 2026 |
Both figures are read from two places that agree: the Steam store API's price block and the purchase box on the store page itself. Regional pricing is whatever Steam charges in your currency; this page does not convert.
Cost per hour
The useful comparison for a five-dollar incremental game is dollars per hour of play, and the first-48-hour reports give a range:
| Player report | Play time | Cost per hour at $4.79 |
|---|---|---|
| Fastest full clear | about 5 hours | about $0.96 |
| Typical 100% run | 5.3 to 6 hours | $0.80 to $0.90 |
| Longer run, no 100% | 11 to 12 hours | $0.40 to $0.44 |
| Shortest reported | 3 to 4 hours | $1.20 to $1.60 |
Even the shortest report lands near a dollar an hour, which is the argument players themselves make in the discussions: "4 to 5 hours of entertainment for $5 is actually a pretty good deal."
Is the discount worth waiting out?
It goes the wrong way. The current price is the lowest the game has been — it launched four days ago and has not been discounted beyond the introductory offer. Waiting does not get you a better price; it gets you a game with fewer players discussing it.
What you get for the money
One purchase, no microtransactions listed, no season pass. Seventeen achievements, one map, five waves, a prestige layer and an endless mode. The game facts page has the complete feature list, and system requirements tells you whether your machine is in scope before you buy.
Refunds
Steam's standard refund window applies to any purchase: two hours of play and fourteen days from purchase, via Steam Support. This site has no part in that process. If you are unsure whether the game is for you, the FAQ answers the three questions that decide it — can you lose, how long is it, and is prestige required.
